My software partnership, Newbound, Inc., is an iOS Registered Developer. I’ve been programming for the iOS devices since last summer.
Although the next version iOS 6 is available to me as a Registered iOS Developer, I’m programming for the iPad2 using the currently released iOS 5. To learn more about iOS 5, this past week I watched 26 of the 109 WWDC 2011 videos.
The sessions are proprietary for Registered Developers only. Many of the topics are advanced including expert development tips. I learned about the following topics in the many sessions:
- Application Stability
- Cocoa Touch
- Core Animation
- Core Data
- Core Networking
- Debugging Techniques and Tools
- Handling Blocks and Grand Central Dispatch
- Source Control Using Git
- Using Interface Builder and Storyboards
I expect in the near future the WWDC 2012 session videos will be available and I’ll catch up on some of those too. 🙂
