Dashcode Dual Web App Demo

Part of my iOS Programming Series.

On March 28, 2011 I gave the following Dashcode constructed web app presentation to the SDiOS group. About 22 people were present.

I used Keynote ’09 for my slides and then jumped into the demo proper. It was a great evening. After the meeting ended about 10 of us went to Applebee’s to continue the camaraderie that lasted until 11:30 PM. 🙂

This Dashcode demo was created using:

  1. Intel-Mac running 10.6.7
  2. Dashcode 3.0.2 (part of Xcode 4.0.1)
  3. Dual-Product Web Application Tutorial (from Apple)
  4. Safari 5.0.4
  5. An Internet connection

The slideshow discusses how to obtain Dashcode.

Download the zipped folder file to begin. The slides are in pdf format so you do not need Keynote ’09 to view them. Then follow the ReadMeFirst document to follow the enumerated steps to understand the tutorial demo and begin your own further explorations of web apps.

Update 03/31/11: Jeff Rutan, leader of the SDiOS group wrote his description of my Dashcode presentation I gave before the group on March 28, 2011.
