CSUSM Foreign Student IoT and CyberSecurity Presentation June 30, 2015

Part of the iHive Incubator Posts Category.

On June 30, 2015, I gave a one-hour Internet of Things (IoT) and CyberSecurity presentation to a group of about 40 foreign French and Indian students at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM). It was part of that institution’s participation in the American Language and Culture Institute.

It was an interactive session with audience participation and some Q & A near the end. I brought along my Raspberry Pi computer that generated some interest concerning my use of it and in Newbound products, such as our Web Enabled Powerstrip (shown below).

I have been asked to present another topic towards the end of this month. It is a good opportunity to volunteer for my local community and some visiting people from two other nations.
