Last night I listened to the Wal-mart v. Dukes Oral Arguments C-SPAN session, on TV. The program description is shown next:
The Supreme Court heard oral argument in Wal-Mart v. Dukes, a gender discrimination case against Wal-Mart over pay and promotions for as many as 1.5 million current and former women employees. The issue is whether a large group should be allowed to band together in a lawsuit.
Many tough questions asked by the Justices on the merits of this legal issue. The case was accepted for consideration.
