C-SPAN: U.S. Senate Debate on Senate Rules Concerning Filibuster

Today I watched the U.S. Senate Debate concerning a rule change on the Filibuster process. The portion I watched starts at 2 hours 2 minutes and 25 seconds into the recorded session. Move the playhead of the video to that mark and play.

I don’t have a problem with the filibuster rule. What is a problem is when the minority is deprived of a voice in the legislative process.

It remains to be seen if the final Senate vote changes the filibuster rule. Changes of this magnitude don’t come easy or often.
