C-SPAN: “Makers: The New Industrial Revolution”

Last night I watched the C-SPAN2 BookTV session: Chris Anderson, “Makers: The New Industrial Revolution” on the Internet. The program description is shown next:

Chris Anderson, editor-in-chief of Wired magazine, contends that America is on the verge of a new industrial revolution spurred by advances in computing.  The author profiles a selection of start-up industrialists, “makers,” who are using social media, crowd sourcing, and open source software to redefine American industry and manufacturing.  Chris Anderson speaks at the Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco.

My friend, Vic, notified me that this presentation was now available for viewing. I found the information very interesting and thought-provoking.

My software partnership, Newbound, Inc., owns a 3D Printer for the last three years and use it for our robotics projects.

Here is a list of designs created with our 3D printer.
