C-SPAN: A Privilege to Die

Last night I watched the A Privilege to Die C-SPAN BookTV session, on TV. The program description is shown next:

Thanassis Cambanis talks about the rise, power, and popularity of Hezbollah in Lebanon. Mr. Cambanis spoke at the New York Public Library in Manhattan.

Thanassis Cambanis,  Adjunct Professor at Columbia University->School of International and Public Affairs gave a detailed explanation of Hezbollah and how their movement evolved and now flourishes as a political and military force.

The report Thanassis gives in this presentation opened my eyes as to just how powerful Hezbollah has become over the years. Funded by Iran and their own internal capitalistic enterprises they perpetuate their strategic and political aims.
