Soft Sincere Women

The above image, Summer Dreams is also available as a Desktop Background

Today's song is Sweet Summer Day by Chris Rea, released in 1998.

My wife is the softest woman I've ever known. She has a tender heart, a tender touch, and always a tender kiss for me. I've been lucky to be married to her for over 37 years.

There are other women I know whom I respectfully identify as soft. Over the years they revealed their thoughts and feelings to me in many sincere discussions. At certain times they inspired some of my digital art or short story material.

Those communications exchange their feminine perspectives, allowing me new understanding. I am privileged that they trust me with those confidences.

Soft sincere women are not weak women. They stand their ground. Getting to know them has helped me understand life from their eyes. Thank you.

I hope all my readers that are fathers had a nice celebration on Father's Day. I received a cool Native American t-shirt from my wife. We spent part of the day out on a short trip and then we shared a plate of nachos and a soft drink in the early afternoon. It was a great day!

Today is the first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It is my favorite season of the year. The warm soft breezes blow through our San Diego home. I look forward to this longest day of the year that starts it all off.

On Friday night, Sherry and I watched the DVD of Avatar. I never saw it before. For Sherry this was her third time watching that movie.

I wasn't very impressed with the plot. It's a retread of so many Hollywood movies that seem to me, repetitive.

Because my software partnership, Newbound, Inc., is a Registered Apple IOS Developer, I watched a few of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2010 videos Apple published online last week. These are the topics I finished so far:

  • Introducing Xcode 4
  • Mastering Xcode for IOS 4 Development
  • Automating The Creation Of iPad Content

That last item presented some easy ways to make web apps for the iPad in less than 1 minute! My next section below is the place to learn how to build easy tools for that purpose.

If you're a Snow Leopard Mac user looking to automate tasks, check out the Services web section. I use several to streamline my workflows.

MacRuby is kind of cool!
