The Key To A Lifetime Of Love?

The above image, Soul Mate Zone is also available as a Desktop Background

Today's song is Your Wildest Dreams by The Moody Blues, released in 1986.

It's always good to find news articles that validates many of the ways I feel about love. This week there were two of personal interest: Is love just a chemical cocktail?; and, True love can last a lifetime.

Fortunately we humans don't need to read to find out if we are in love. Often, reading is the last thing on our mind when love finds its way into our heart.

No one person is an expert about love, so don't go around seeking them out. Your own personal experience is the best teacher. Be honest and realistic in your expectations with yourself and the one you love. Learn from your failures in love, what you contributed to that failure, because you certainly did.

No one knows if they will have a love that lasts a lifetime. Relationships may die, but love can continue on, especially for those who gave full measure from their side of the relationship. If you always give full measure, your chances for receiving love lasting a long time, maybe a lifetime, increases.

I felt the strong jolt of this 4.5 earthquake last night.

Today I send a Happy Birthday wish to one of my best friends, Angel Rodriguez. We have known each other since early September 1964.

I dedicate my new life experience story, Auto Shop to Angel because he taught me a lot about maintaining cars and maintaining friendships.

I added the Don Caricature 1972 Movie to the QuickTime Videos page. It was filmed on February 2, 1972 at Disneyland during the artist's drawing this caricature of me (shown below).

I added two music video links on the Don's YouTube Picks page:

  • Your Wildest Dreams
  • Hello It's Me

Hello It's Me, a music artist's insights.

I went to see the new movie, Valkyrie on Tuesday. A powerful story of how some Germans during WWII tried to end the Nazi madness, risking their lives in the process.

Wow, they are getting nailed with snow in Spokane, Washington. Maybe some folks there have prior experience with blizzards?

And in other parts across that state they are having historic floods. I get lots of page view visits from all over Washington state and hope everyone there stays safe from harm. Below is a Google Analytics map of that state for all of 2008. Each indicated visit can generate many page views.

The 2009 Tech Career Planner is out.

My friend, Bob, sent me this link that should be a reminder to all of us.

This is a cool, historic gathering.

My friend and mentor, Gene Weed, has a mySpace page and contains his video clip on using professional microphones.
