A Super Bowl Party To Remember

The above image, Primary Shock is also available as a Desktop

Today's song is Who's Crying Now by Journey, released in 1981.

On Super Bowl Sunday, I attended a party at my friends house of, Debby and Jeff, in nearby Carlsbad. There were about twenty people there including children of various ages. We had good food to eat, good discussions, and a great time watching the game on their HD TV with HD service.

Most of those people I had never met before, but in a short time I got to know most of them as we cheered and moaned during the game.

I felt as if that was the best football game I ever watched! The fourth quarter was especially tense with both teams scoring back and forth.

Maybe I'll be invited back sometime to share a special event with their friends again. I enjoyed their company.

Last Saturday, Sherry and I found out our daughter will be having a son in June. This is their second child. All grandparents are happily awaiting his birth just a few months away...

My friend, Shelly sent me a PowerPoint show on retirement home alternatives.

I also created a new PowerPoint Presentation concerning Time Management that I used for this week's Twin Oaks Toastmasters meeting.

I wrote a new short story, The Gift.

My friend, Mark, sent me a link about the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago.
