Proof Of Love

The above image, Twinkling Connections is also available as a Desktop Background

Today's song is YouTube's La La Means I Love You by The Delfonics, released in 1968.

I was reading this timely topic, The Biology of Dating: Why Him, Why Her? I believe there is a large degree of correlation to those findings. Of the four types discussed in the section below, I believe I fit the Director type best.

"People who express dopamine -- I call them Explorers -- tend to be risk-taking, curious, creative, impulsive, optimistic, and energetic. The traits associated with the serotonin system express themselves in what I call Builders. They're cautious but not fearful, calm, traditional, community-oriented, persistent and loyal. Directors have traits associated with activity in the testosterone system. These people tend to be very analytical, decisive, tough-minded; they like to debate and can be aggressive. The fourth type is the Negotiator. Men or women who express activity in the estrogen system tend to be broadminded imaginative, compassionate, intuitive, verbal, nurturing, altruistic and idealistic."

Because of my long marriage I am out-of-touch with the dating scene nowadays. I do have friends that are dating and I gather some tidbits of the current process from them from time-to-time. Based upon that feedback and the articles I read from various sources, I come to the conclusion not much has changed since I dated.

I started dating at age 17. My experiences started out rather mundane but within a few months, I really became involved. Perhaps I was uncontrollably drawn to my first love by our mutual biology as the article points out. In due time, lost innocence arrived and the adult world of ramifications took off after that. After a period of almost six years of dating (on and off), I found the woman who I would ask to marry and she accepted. Our biology's seem to mix pretty well for nearly 36 years together.

Once a couple starts truly communicating with one another, to really open up, that's when the relationship starts to come together. Until that time happens, it's just dating, otherwise known as window-shopping. After that deep, revealing communication starts, the relationship becomes serious. I think honest heart-to-heart discussions are the key factor above everything else a couple may share together. More than anything else that's the proof of love.

I am scheduled to take my MCTS 70-632 MS Project 2007 Exam this month. My preparation is by self-study through reading the four books below starting back on November 18, 2008:

I published one new digital art image, Becky's Place, (shown below) with narration.

On Tuesday, February 3, 2009, it will be 50 years since deaths of Buddy Holly, Big Bopper, Ritchie Valenz. How different would Rock-n-Roll be if they had lived? What music would they continued to make?

The current Stimulus Bill needs to create jobs now as the primary reason it exists. The country lost 100,000 jobs in the last week alone.

Unlike the free-spending Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senators are taking a closer look at achieving the prime goal of creating jobs.

I congratulate, Michael Steele, new RNC Chairman on his new office.

This is a great discovery to keep a vital food source flowing.

One of my connections on my Facebook site often refers readers to, The Leadership Diamond. Thanks, Jim!

There is always a need for strong effective leaders.

This situation is like "congratulating" the late Sonny Liston for his lying on the mat victory over Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) in their historic 1965 boxing match.
