A Faithful Reader Journey

The above image is, Matters Of Perspective

Today's song is Private Eyes by Hall & Oates, released in 1981.

On Thursday, a reader from a Wisconsin city spent about thirteen hours reading my site. I know that from my various logs I keep of the server activity. Over 90 pages were slowly perused throughout the day and night during that period of time. That's one curious, if not dedicated reader!

The pattern of pages read is interesting to me. Mostly digital art pages were read, but occasionally, some other content pages were viewed. I almost feel like I know who that person was, but if they don't contact me, I could never be certain.

Whoever it was, I hope they found value here in exchange for their time. I appreciate all my readers, very much.

There is an email conversation being conducted between me and one of my elected representatives. I find it interesting that this individual takes the time to discuss my views. I won't disclose who that person is or what we talk about.

Our elected officials are busy people. The one I am conversing with is the first elected official to continue a correspondence with me. I've written my views before to other elected representatives, and they usually respond and that's the end of the conversation. I'm okay with that.

But this elected official is going the extra mile in my case. I'm not asking this person for any action, we are just discussing an idea. I've been invited to the office, if I want to talk in-person. I may take that option up in the near future. As you may know, I enjoy in-person communication the best. :-)

Sherry and I went to see The Bourne Ultimatum on Wednesday night. We've seen all three of the series and liked them all.

My good friend and mentor, Gene Weed, is promoting the book, To Rise Above It All on his Lulu site.

The new Apple iMacs are very cool! You can watch Steve Jobs at the product announcement for additional information.

Now I'm undecided whether to purchase one of those systems or a MacBook.

CNET gives the new iMac an 8.2 out of 10!

This InfoWorld article is a review.

Want to see some great Southwest canyon wonders? I've been to several of those places and have pictures of them.

Wired has a How To article on using BitTorrent. Good information there.

Microsoft Vista denies users again. Sometimes I wonder if Microsoft pays any attention at all to the world changing around it?

This information doesn't surprise me at all. I hope Microsoft management is aware of this.
