Freedom's Path Is Not Free

The above image, Tibetan Freedom Flame is also available as a Desktop Background

Today's song is I.G.Y. (International Geophysical Year) by Steely Dan, released in 1982.

I wonder how much longer totalitarian nations will continue to survive? They are going to see at some point the folly of their ways.

Take China for instance. Other than being totalitarian, they have a great history and proud people. Why do they continue to be so controlling? What are they afraid of? Maybe they should spend their time instead to stop being the number one carbon polluter in the world. Something tells me they don't care about either path.

Then there are people outside of totalitarian nations who want to be open toward such nations and yet are surprised when those nations act in totalitarian ways!

It would be great to have people in their own nations determine their own ways to live and let other nations live and let live to the same extent. Some people still want to see a one-world government. Not Me! I like cultural variation and have no desire to be ruled by non-Americans in any shape or form.

I realize that some nations will have to fight to obtain their freedom. My nation did and will continue to fight to maintain its freedom. I know I will fight if it comes to that.

Sherry and I send a Happy Eighth Wedding Anniversary to our daughter and her husband. Many more on the way!

Last Saturday I met, Tammy, a person who wants to help talented singers and other artists get signed by record companies. Tammy is interested in using my art for CD album covers. She has many contacts in the entertainment industry and has performed herself on American Idol. We spoke for hours at the nearby San Marcos Starbucks and I discovered rather quickly that she is a woman of wisdom.

One of the things we share is appreciation for perceptive people. She is blessed with psychic sensings and it was a great experience to share our insights along those lines.

Based upon our conversation, I decided to create my interpretation of people who posses an Intuitive Grasp of most situations. Below is my newest digital image by that name:

Here's a great close-up photo of a California Deer I took back on July 22, 2004.

I watched the 1992 movie, The Last of the Mohicans on DVD recently. I had never seen that great movie before.

While looking around the Internet for references to my former partnership of EveryDay Objects, Inc., I discovered a graphic of the Net Servers [1; 2] product we created and licensed to Pictorius, Inc., to sell for us back in the 1990's. That products splash screen is shown below.

Then I looked around my hard disk and found the EDO Object Oriented Terminology Monograph PDF I wrote back on August 8, 1996.
