Two of the motivations people use to justify their actions are love and money. Sometimes one or the other is the basis for action, sometimes they are joined to produce results.
Relationships are most often decided on those two factors. I've known marriages where one of the partners married the other for money and the other married for love. A marriage might work that way, who's to really say?
Career goals too can be achieved by those two characteristics. Some people love what they do, others just put in time for a paycheck and the accumulation of work. Success in a career can be achieved by either means it seems.
In the beginning and end, we ourselves determine why we do things. There are other reasons to accomplish actions, but love or money seems to be the most powerful. Take some time to understand why you do things in certain circumstances. You may find some revealing answers about yourself.
